1,261 Millions Invested in Projects

According to the preliminary numbers of the Contraloría General, an increment of 25.4% was registered of the value of projects for residential constructions and redesigning and non residential in 2007.

Last year there were many different projects that were developed for 1,261 millions, 984 millions for residential constructions and 276 for non residential.

Four districts are completely enjoying the real estate boom: Panama grew 97.8%; Colón, 84.2%; Arraiján, 30.6%; y Santiago, 172.8%.

In December, the constructions reached a value of 116 millions, 80.1% higher than the same month in 2006 which reached 64.4 millions. Other Articles:
