The National Census of Panama will be held on Sunday May 16, 2010 from 12:01 am 12:00 midnight. It is strictly forbidden to leave your home that day until you are registered by the officials.

Please note that the census also includes foreigns that are in Panama that day, even you are not a resident.

It is mandatory to provide information to these officials. Once finished, you will be given a password allowing you to circulate on the streets. You will be fined if you have NOT been registered and the National Police stops you.

For those who must work that day, as doctors, nurses, etc., Shall be subject to prior registration.
