The insurance covers up to $20,000 in case of accidental death. It also covers medical expenses incurred resulting from an accident in Panama, illness contracted in Panama, medical transport, emergency dental work, pharmacy costs and legal assistance in the case of lost or stolen documents.
Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) director Salomón Shamah informed that the insurance will cost $2 per tourist and will be included in a tourist’s travel package. Other Articles:
