Admiring the Sunsets in the Amador Causeway

by Toly

Sunset in the CausewayNo matter how many times I visit the Causeway in Amador, I never get tired of enjoying the gorgeous views. They always make me feel as if there’s something greater out there, while providing me with a much needed inner peace. Ok, maybe that’s going too far. But no matter how you feel about it, many will agree that it is one of the most beautiful places to relax in Panama.

Sunset in the CausewaySunsets in the Causeway are a thing of beauty and the views change drastically from day to day. It goes without saying that a walk along this long path, connecting Amador to the Flamenco Islands, is a must for anyone visiting the Causeway for the first time – preferably between 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm to appreciate these beautiful sunsets.

Sunset in the CausewayThe long path allows for multiple angles and views of the sunsets depending on your location on it, which are nicely complemented by surrounding landscapes such as the Panama City skyline, the Bridge of the Americas and ships waiting to pass by the Panama Canal. If you feel like you have walked enough, there are plenty of benches to sit down, relax and simply enjoy the view.

Take the time to spend at least one evening in the Causeway. You won’t regret it!
