Park of the Americas is a project in the adjoining area of Tocumen Airport and consist of about 50 hectares of Land next to the International Terminals.

The Owners have a license to build a Export Processing Zone (EPZ) to take advantage of the benefits of law No.25 of November de 1992.

The worldwide tendency towards globalization, private enterprise and the existence of an economy without borders, has determined the path of national economies. Panama does not escape this reality and taking into consideration that for its geographic location it has the privilege of being an ideal place for cargo transshipment, interchange of goods and the provision of related commercial services.

Panama International Airport is the most important Hub in the Southern Hemisphere of he Americas, with flight connections to all countries in the North and South America and the Caribbean.

Land and facilities belonging to the Tocumen International Airport have been recently transferred to a private corporation wholly owned by the Panamanian government. The passenger terminal and a second runway were built 25 years ago. On the neighboring surrounding areas, some commercial development has been built, but it lacks specific developments to efficiently serve the needs of air transport and tourism.

At the location of our land, adjacent closed to the Airport access roads, “The Park of the Americas” will have the ideal habitat tailored made for the development of an Export Processing Zone with commercial and industrial activities related to International Commerce, Convention Center with Hotels and Trade Exhibitions.

The facilities at the international airport and other infrastructures represent public and private investment in excess of US$500 million dollars on the eastern sector of the metropolitan district of Panama. The Inter American Highway that joins Darien province on the Colombian border with Panama province, is currently being paved since all the necessary infrastructure is already complete.

Under this perspective, the logical location for industrial and commercial facilities as well as the “Hub of the Americas” operated by Copa Airlines, and an International Exposition and Fair Center should be located opposite the passenger terminal al Tocumen Airport, on land owned by Park of the Americas.

The project shall include:

  • Custom Building with cargo and handling facilities.
  • Storage warehousing facilities and container storage.
  • Industrial lots of 40 meter front by 50 meter depth (2000 square meters).
  • International Center for Expositions (commercial and industrial).
  • Controlled gates for entry and exit from the park.
  • Administrative offices and Hotel.
  • Restaurant, meeting rooms, communication center and full service banks.
  • Infrastructure

The Holding Corporation is seeking a co investor with focus on operating a Commercial Exhibition Center in the adjoin areas of Tocumen International Airport.
