Amador Heights

Amador Heights is the most exlusive neighborhood in the former Canal Zone. There are several million dollar homes located in this neighborhood.

Amador is located near the entrance of the Panama Canal on the Pacific side. From the dirt that was taken out during the cosntruction of the Canal a Causeway was built that connects Amador to three nearby islands. This Causeway is used by exercisers to bike, jog, walk, etc. On the islands there are several restaraunts and shops. Several hotels are bieng built also. This area is a tourist haven and is also a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family.

Amador is 10 minutes away form downtown Panama City and is next to the Bridge of the Americas, which takes you the beaches.
