This fabulous property of three levels in Coco del Mar was awarded a Prize by the Panamanian Society of Architects and Engineers in the year 1985, nominated as the best house of the year. It was designed by Architect Alfredo Boza.

The frontal façade as well as the interior details and decoration are made of an exquisite rustic style and at the same time somewhat eclectic for the combination of modern design and decoration details antique and rustic, reminding us a huge sculpture, transmitting art, movement, light, peace and lot of air ventilation. It is worth mentioning that for the construction of the house, steel materials was used extensively and an anti- earthquake system was put in place.

All walls are covered with rustic finishing and of wide appearance, in some areas with stone finishing. Floors are made of clay, wood and hand painted ceramic. In the bedrooms, floors are of Brazilian parquet. Its large windows guarantee excellent cross air ventilation, resembling interior Mexican style, with spaces full of atypical details and the numerous furniture of encrypted cement which give a unique and special personal feeling. It is worth mentioning that the quality of the wood ( Cedro Espino) is exceptional. All cabinets and closets for all rooms and kitchen as well as all doors are made of this type of wood. The kitchen is very well illuminated, neat and comfortable, as well as bathrooms. They contain Kholer brands accessories and French faucets. There is also a comfortable maid’s room with bathroom. A small internal storage and a big one leaving the laundry room along the patio.

With 425 square meters of construction distributed among the three levels and a lot of 549 square meters, this marvelous house could be the dream house for someone who appreciate its beauty and kindness. Even though the size of the lot is about the same as the total construction area, the house is located in such a way as to provide ample gardens surrounding it.

The dinning area is clearly defined for its use, but at the same time it is fully integrated to the living room and toward a lower level that is occupied by a terrace followed by an ample garden and a barbecue area to the right hand side and at the left, there is still plenty of room to accommodate a future swimming pool.

In the second level, you can find three bedrooms, the master room with its own bathroom which is very well illuminated and at the same time very fresh, while the other two rooms share the second bathroom.

A caracole stair leads to the Third and last level, which comprise a small room with a nice balcony from where you can enjoy the sun rise, the sea and the moon nights.

Coco del Mar is a very exclusive, suburbian residential area nestled off of the Pacific coast just outside Panama City between the more commonly known points of Punta Pacifica and Costa del Este.

It is located very near to Old Panama, which once served as the forts of the Spanish Explorers in the 1600´s, but after being ransacked by Sir Henry Morgan and his men, all that remains are stone ruins.

Although Coco del Mar is only a few minutes from downtown Panama, one can still see nature all around. Many cranes, herons, pelicans and frigate birds nest in the area and are commonly seen fishing the waters just off the rocky beaches.

The area of Coco del Mar is remarkable quiet and pristine considering its proximity to Panama City, and is comprised of a nice mixture of high density apartment buildings and large single family home properties.
