The road is a very good asphalt road all the way to the town of Miguel de la Borda and from the city to this town it takes approximately 3 hours.....At Miguel de la Borda there are many boats willing to take passengers to the different locations...By boat it takes 1 hour and a half to get to Caimito from Miguel de la Borda.

The second way to get there is thru the mountains of Penonome, thru a town named Coclesito..From here you take a motor canoe down the river all the way to the Caribbean Coast...from there you must make your way towards Cocle del Norte and then Caimito.

It is important to note that the government is currently interested in developing the infrastructure to attract tourism in this area, including the making of a road to take you all the way to Cocle del Norte.
