This residence is on a more tan unique prime real estate property, overlooking the ocean. The origins of this neighborhood are traced back to the years of the early growing of the city of Panama, and it is a privileged one that is not very usual to find or even, to develop a project.  The access to the house is a road that is very quiet and low transited.

Located entering Vía Cincuentenario, Coco del Mar is a very exclusive, suburbia residential area nestled off of the Pacific coast just outside Panama City between the more commonly known points of Punta Pacífica and Costa del Este.

It is located very near to Old Panama, which once served as the forts of the Spanish Explorers in the 1600´s, but after being ransacked by Sir Henry Morgan and his pirates, what remains are ruins that are enclosed as a patrimonial park. It had been restored and very much manicured and included in the tourist attractions of the country.

Although Coco del Mar is only a few minutes from downtown Panama, one can still see nature all around. Many cranes, herons, pelicans and frigate birds nest in the area and are commonly seen fishing the waters just off the rocky beaches.

The area of Coco del Mar is remarkable quiet and pristine considering its proximity to Panama City, and is comprised of a nice mixture of high density apartment buildings and large single family home properties.
Coco del Mar offers all of the conveniences of the city are available within a very close proximity. The neighborhood also has beautiful, unobstructable, ocean views that can be afforded from the vast majority of properties in the area.

Coco del Mar is literally a hop skip and a jump from the Southern Corredor which is less than 15 minutes by car from Tocumen International Airport.

Anita 17 is a remarkable house that was rebuilt a few years ago and offers ample areas for entertaining, including a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, a very pro BBQ, maids quarter and a very friendly and well designed kitchen.

There are 6 rooms, besides the servant’s quarters, everyone with bathroom and ample closets. It was redesigned to have nature as the primary focus and it includes skylights in the entrance and in important spots of the house.

The house has two floors with in between floors that take advantages of the area where it was built. In the ground floor, behind a discrete entrance, there is a world to find, a visitor’s bathroom, a complete guest room, living and dining areas, terrace and swimming pool, kitchen, pantry and informal dinner room, servant’s quarters and maintenance.

In the intermediate floor there is a room for one of the almost adult children of the house. In the second floor there is an ample family room with space to host a pool table, home theatre and plenty of plants. The main bedroom has a seating comfortable area and even a terrace to have a pleasant hammock to rest. The second bedroom is really a two bedroom quarter, with a bathroom in the middle. There is another bedroom for the siblings.

The house sits on top of the shore of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the Corredor Sur. When the tide is high, the waves can reach the border of the property. When is low, a resource of gardening can be used to enjoy the proximity.

Coco del Mar is a unique location and this house is a jewel of the crown.
