As a testimony of my recent visit to the island, I was impressed with the level of advance that the development already has. There are nine (9) houses already built and the infrastructure is almost done for the whole island. The streets are wide and smooth to drive around, and the vegetation is not being taken off until the lot is sold, and the house starts to be built. According to the Panamanian Laws, taking out a tree represents a fee and replanting several ones in another piece of land, so it is very much concern about the ambience.
The breakwater has started to being built and the slips of 300 boats are already at the site. The constructors of the golf course are already at the site making advances to have that important part of the development on time. We have the opportunity to spend a good time with them and are very professional and with a need of urgency to move on with this project.
The promoters are reviewing some of the designs in order to allow a group to buy three of four lots and make it a gated community with, perhaps, some of the amenities being shared. That will attract families and relatives that want to be together but not under the same roof.
Viveros is a paradise in the ocean, the water at this time of the year is extraordinary and the fishing outstanding.
