A new specialized polyclinic from the CSS was recently inaugurated in Penonome, with an investment of $23..2 million.
It is intended to benefit more than 180,000 residents, and will offer emergency services, medical radiology, allergology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, gynecology-obstetrics, family medicine, internal medicine and ophthalmology.
In addition, it will offer care in otorhinolaryngology, orthopedics, pediatrics, psychiatry, rheumatology, urology, clinical laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dentistry, occupational health, electrocardiography, physical medicine and rehabilitation, general surgery, cardiology and pulmonology, among others.
The new facility includes 12 dental units with a swivel chair, equipment such as scales, stretchers, a sphygmomanometer, various auxiliary tables and a medicine cabinet, and furniture.
