Expo Vivienda Capac 2023 is one of the most important real estate fairs in the country and the latest fair registered sales of houses and apartments of more than $130 million, which shows that this is one of several important keys to the economic reactivation of Panama.
According to the organizers, more than 1,550 homes were sold. The transaction reveals that close to 90% of the transactions correspond to properties whose value is between $40,000.00 and $180,000.00, which has the benefit of the Preferential Interest Law.
The Preferential Interest Law has been in force for 35 years and it is designed to reduce the housing deficit that allows low-income families to access their own home and is expected to contribute to the growth of the construction industry.
Expo Vivienda Capac 2023 registered an attendance of more than 10,000 visitors, who had the offer of more than 120 exhibitors with more than 300 housing projects and the attention of 10 public and private banks, which facilitated access to mortgage loans.
The next Expo Vivienda Capac fair will be held from September 28 to October 1 2023 at the Panama Convention Center.
