Chepo
Chepo is located roughly 1 hour east of Panama City. It is home to one of Panama largest rivers: the Bayano River, and largest lakes, The Bayano Lake. Bayano plays a very important role as home of a Hydroelectric plant which supplies the majority of the electricity for the city of Panama.
There are plans in the very near future to complete a major road through the area of Chepo. This road will make the Indian Reservation of Kuna Yala and its many beautiful Caribbean beaches and coasts much more accessible.
